Imperial & Metric Shafts
Our propeller shafts are manufactured from bright ground 316 grade stainless steel and can be supplied in metric or imperial sizes up to 3" or 75mm diameter. These shafts can be machined with either 1:10, 1:12, 1:16 or 1:20 tapers. They are supplied with nuts and keys ready for installation.
Cost of keying parallel shaft and supply parallel key up to 2"/ 50mm - shaft diameter, from 2"/ 50 mm to 3"/ 70mm. Fitting a 1/2" coupling is extra. Please ring or e-mail for your specific requirements, such as lengths and tapers as all our Shafts are made to your exact requirements not mass produced.

DUPLEX STAINLESS is also available giving 30% increase in tensile strength over 316, it also has a greater resistance to corrosion all due to its higher chromium & molybdenum content. Enables smaller stern gear to be fitted, in some cases, with cost saving overall.
Available in 1", 1 1/4" 1 1/2", 1 3/4" & 2" diameter.
